Leblas is a fine jewellery boutique combining traditional techniques with modern design and sustainable practices.

Our collections, entirely created by award-winning designer Arabel Lebrusan, are made by artisans in intimate workshops throughout Spain, yielding superior standards through centuries of perfected craftsmanship.

We deliver beautiful design and time-tested quality exclusively through sustainable practices. Leblas is committed to sourcing all its materials and managing our business in a way that is socially, environmentally and culturally responsible.

Arabel has looked to her Spanish roots and has spent years travelling across Spain to find the best skilled artisans who are prepared to develop new ideas which has led to the creation of our first collections which use Filigree , Damascene and our handmade Gold Sequin chain, (Cadena de Lentejeulas).

Clare and Arabel met in 2007 and immediately shared a common appreciation and vision for running a design-led jewellery business in a sustainable way. Both have worked with jewellery for many years but they wanted to join together to realise a vision that sustainable products do not have to sacrifice design or quality.

Clare and Arabel have worked intensively in the Far East over the last 10 years. After seeing the world of mass manufacture and consumption they were both keen to create jewellery in a more intimate and comfortable environment for workers, but also in a way which revitalised the European heritage that is fast disappearing and bring unique traditional techniques to a new generation of customers.

The aim is to establish an apprenticeship scheme that will allow the transfer of these treasured skills to the next generation before they disappear from our culture entirely.
